Permanent placement

Software engineers, tech leads and engineering managers, hired for the long arc. Every shortlisted candidate has been on a 30-minute technical call with us first. You see two to five CVs, not twenty.

Contract (IR35-aware)

Short-term contractors for migrations, platform spikes, and the project nobody wants to touch. Inside or outside IR35, and we tell you which up front. Day rates agreed in writing before the first interview.

3 – 12 months · devops · platform · backend.

Embedded recruitment

For a few weeks at a time, we work as your hiring team. Your tools, your ATS, your standup. Useful when you're hiring six or more engineers and don't want a procession of agency emails.

We read your codebase before we write a spec.

Point us at a GitHub repo, a stack rundown, or just talk us through it. We come back with questions about your services, your deploys and the bits of the codebase you'd rather not show off. That's what we screen for.

Every shortlisted candidate has been on a technical call.

Not a screen by a sourcer, not a keyword match. A real conversation about their stack, their last codebase and what they're trying to do next. CVs come with our notes attached. No CV spam.

Flat fee, only on hire. No retainers.

Same price whether the search takes a week or six. No exclusivity clause, no monthly subscription, no minimum spend. We make money when we find you someone you'd have hired anyway.

What hiring with Commit Talent actually looks like.

Brief call.

Twenty minutes. You tell us what you need. We ask the awkward questions about your stack, the team and the last person who left. We write the job spec; you sign it off.

Shortlist of 2–5.

We source, we screen, we send. Every shortlisted candidate has been on a technical call with us first. Notes on stack fit and likely concerns attached to each CV. No bulk emails to your inbox.

You hire. Flat fee.

You interview, you decide. Fee is a flat amount agreed at the brief call, payable only on hire. If nobody fits, we keep sourcing at no extra cost. If you find your own candidate independently, no fee.
